Many people believe in angels and evil spirits, and popular culture abounds in stories of encounters with such entities. Yet the plausibility of their existence is a question largely ignored by the academic establishment. In this book Phillip Wiebe presents a sophisticated defence of the traditional Christian belief in the reality of transcendent beings. Central to the argument is Wiebe's advocation of the 'naturalising' of supernaturalism.
