This publication is a collection of texts which, on the one hand, shed some light on the origins and the evolution of health communication in Poland and, on the other hand, present the main interests and the developments in the field. The authors have invited researchers from different academic centres in Poland and practitioners who deal with health communication on a daily basis to contribute to this volume. We hope this book will encourage readers to join the debate on the subjects presented here and that this will initiate interesting meetings, important discoveries and inspiring publications about health communication.
