Książka Partnerships in the Public Sector zawiera angielskie tłumaczenie tekstów opublikowanych wcześniej pod tytułem Partnerstwa w sferze publicznej (red. Anna Kołomycew, Bogusław Kotarba, Warszawa 2014).
"Not all of the studies offer optimistic conclusions, revealing several shortcomings in the application of various partnership models in the public sector - alongside their merits. Therefore, there is a widely acknowledged need to discuss and compare the different findings and conclusions produced by these studies, a need that is often voiced by the policy-makers, partnership participants, and academics involved. In recognition of the need to discuss these partnerships from the perspective of both practitioners and scientists, the Department of Political Science at the University of Rzeszów organized an international conference that was held on 5-6 June 2014 in Rzeszów. (...) Partnership issues were tackled from a whole spectrum of perspectives - legal, organizational, political, economic, social, and cultural. Drawing on the conference proceedings, several accounts of the problems discussed have been published as academic papers. Some of these papers are included in the present volume."
