Taylor had been saving carefully from her salary as an elementary school teacher to rent a house on Cape Cod's sunny oceanfront. It was supposed to be a relaxing holiday with her brother Jude: measured conversations, sunbathing, surfing. But a dead body in a rented house ruined all plans. Miles is a bounty hunter who has come to Cape Cod on his bike to catch the killer. He doesn't need any help with the case, especially from Taylor, who openly confuses his mind. But she's listened to a lot of crime podcasts, so she's sure she knows her way around a crime investigation. A brutal biker and an energetic elementary school teacher could make a super team in solving murders. They are so different, but they share a common desire to get to the bottom of the truth. But they're so attracted to each other that it can make things very difficult.
