Boston is closely associated with the American Revolution, the anti-slavery movement, academic achievement, and traffic congestion. It is also the venue for the 2013 IMIA conference. As a city, Boston epitomizes the northeastern corner of the USA. This edition updates our previous edition and offers two significant innovations. The first is the inclusion on the reverse side of a detailed regional map of the northeastern States - New England and the eastern portions of New York State and Pennsylvania.

Essentially, this is a map that would prove useful for a visitor perhaps landing in the USA at Boston#39;s Logan Airport, seeing the city, and wishing to drive to Washington or Philadelphia or spend a few days exploring the New England States without needing to purchase a second map. The second innovation is that this map is printed on ITM waterproof plastic paper. This makes it extremely useful as an umbrella, as well as a durable map able to stand up under intensive use.
