In the formulation, processing, and applications of dispersions and composites, a good understanding of the physical properties is required. A number of books are available on the physical properties of dispersions and composites, but they are restricted to rheological and mechanical properties of dispersed systems. This book addresses the electromagnetic (dielectric, electrical, and magnetic), thermal, and mass transport properties of dispersed systems, which have received little attention even though these properties are equally important from a practical point of view.
