Not only this, but The Prequels also tells the backstories of characters that are not well known in Gifted, giving the reader a chance to become familiar with ALL of the Gifted universe, before reading Gifted. The Prequels also contains three Gifted chapters, to allow the reader to start seeing how the stories relate.
