As LPP readers may observe, volume 6.2 is the first compiled by two new editors, Marta Dynel and Monika Kopytkowska. We should like to thank the former editor, Iwona Witczak-Olisiecka, for her effort in developing the journal over the past few years.
The present volume consists of seven articles, both new methodological proposals and case studies. While some contributions are the applications of the traditional pragmatic frameworks within the study of speech acts, deixis, implicitness, conversational logic, and impoliteness, other authors offer new methodological perspectives, extensions of these models and novel applications.
