Told chiefly through the warped commentary of Johnson Riley, we witness the wedding party's behaviour in the run-up to the Big Day. Johnny is the lovable but exasperating groom who can't quite bring himself to make that big commitment to his bride-to-be. He fluctuates wildly between besotted and bemused, sharing his fears, dreams and fantasies.
