  • ANTHONY FORSTER is Director of Research in the Defence Studies Department, Kings College London based at the Joint Service Command and Staff College. Since 1999 he has been a Special Advisor to the House of Lords Select Committee on Common Foreign Policy and Security Policy. He has published widely on the EU's Common Foreign and Security Policy and civil-military relations.
  • TIMOTHY EDMUNDS is a Research Fellow in the Defence Studies Department of Kings College London and a Research Associate at the International Institute for Strategic Studies. He has published widely on issues of civil-military relations.
  • ANDREW COTTEY is Jean Monnet Lecturer Chair in European Political Integration and a Lecturer in the Department of Government, University College, Cork, and Lecturer in the Department of Peace Studies, University of Bradford. He is currently a Research Associate at the International Institute for Strategic Studies. He has published widely on European and international security issues.
